Terms of Sale & Use

Last updated: August 19, 2026

The product

Calliday is a time-tracking application for macOS, sold as a one-time purchase in two tiers: Starter ($39 + tax, one Mac) and Pro ($49 + tax for one Mac, $69 for two, $89 for three; multi-Mac licences include syncing between your Macs through your own cloud storage). A licence does not expire and there is nothing to renew. Feature differences are listed on the pricing page. A free 7-day trial is available in the app.

Purchases & the merchant of record

Orders are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, receipts, and refunds; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Refunds

A 14-day money-back guarantee applies — see the refund policy.

AI features

AI-assisted features are optional, off by default, and run on the provider you configure: Apple Intelligence or another model on your own Mac, or your own API key with a provider of your choosing. We supply no AI service and act as no intermediary — nothing you send to a provider passes through calliday.app.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent licensing, abuse trial issuance, or use the software in violation of applicable law. We may decline service to abusive usage.

Warranty & liability

Calliday is provided "as is." We work hard to make it reliable — and it records data locally precisely so you stay in control — but to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Disputes & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. If we have a disagreement, talk to us first — support@calliday.app resolves almost everything. Failing that, you and we agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration before pursuing it anywhere else. Any dispute that arbitration cannot resolve is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois. Nothing in this section limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived, including any non-waivable right to bring claims in your local courts.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
